The Home Office leadership team chooses one Executive Director of the Year as the ‘Executive Director of the Year’ based on various criteria. The Executive Director who stands out receives the prestigious Supernova Award from our Executive Team at the Senior Living Communities Annual Meeting Memory Gala!

The criteria for voting are if this person embodies the company’s Guiding Principles, demonstrates servant leadership in their team, and shows overall growth/improvement year-over-year.

This year, Wellmore of Lexington proudly announces its Executive Director, Crystal Butcher, as the recipient of the 2025 Supernova Award for Executive Director of the Year! In the last six years, she’s been a shining example of what servant leadership looks like. Under her direction, Wellmore of Lexington has seen tremendous progress, not just in operational success, but in the lives of its Members and team members. She creates goals that continue to elevate the community year after year and has an unwavering focus on person-centered care.
