Wellmore’s Julie Gaines Wins 2023 Supernova Award

Wellness/Social Director Takes Home Highest Honor

The Supernova Award is our company’s highest individual honor each year. The individual on the leadership team receives votes from their colleagues as the community’s Supernova based on various criteria.

The criteria that the Executive Team bases the nomination on upholding our company’s mission to be caring professionals dedicated to quality services lead positively with integrity, take accountability, put the team before themselves, and embody the company’s vision to create communities where people live longer, healthier, and happier lives. The team member who stands out from the rest receives its prestigious Supernova Award from our Executive Team at the Senior Living Communities Annual Meeting Purple Gala Awards Ceremony!

This year, we are proud to congratulate our Wellness and Social Director, Julie Gaines, as the recipient of the 2023 Wellmore of Tega Cay Supernova Award. Julie is the heartbeat of the community. Julie coordinates all programming that is happening throughout the community. She oversees a team hosting meaningful, diverse, and engaging social programs. Ensuring Members come together for activities, unique dining events, clubs/organizations, and daily events creates friendship and a tight-knit community at Wellmore. As the Wellness Director, she is passionate about helping Members improve their health and well-being through exercise. Her classes are well-attended and tailored to individual needs. She takes pride in measuring and reporting her Members’ improvements and cheering them on through their journey.

Julie started at Wellmore as an intern while working on her Activity Professional Certification through NCCAP. After completion, Julie joined Wellmore full-time! She has taken the years to grow her leadership skills and stepped up as Social/Wellness Director.
