First on the list? A relaxing afternoon at Mercer House Winery! Their wines are vinted from just about anything you can think of… wild fruit, pumpkin, and even kale. It’s the perfect spot for making memories with loved ones while trying something new together.

Lexington’s very own Live Concert Series will have you moving and grooving all summer long! From rock favorites like Under the Sun to soulful blues, there will be a little something for everyone to jam out to.

Fish at Gibson Park

Nothing says summer quite like a peaceful afternoon on the water. Gibson Pond Park offers a secluded, wooded environment on 15 acres and is known for its fishing dock. Visitors can cast their line for bass, bluegill, brim, catfish, and crappie. Outdoor recreation has no limits at this destination.

Dive into Local History with a Bullstreet District Walking Tour

This tour dives into the rich history of the former main campus of the South Carolina State Hospital, a local landmark. This 75-minute walking tour will take you through the grounds of the Bull Street District, where you can see the remaining buildings and hear stories from patients and caregivers who helped shape history as we know it.

Shop for Local Produce at the Market at Icehouse

Summer is the season of fresh flavors, and there’s no better place to shop local than our farmers’ market. Every Saturday through the end of September, we can look forward to Market at Icehouse. This open-air venue features tons of local farmers and artisans with handcrafted and organic goodies to choose from. It’s a great way to support the community while enjoying everything the season has to offer.
