National Hot Tea Day
We had a day of crafting fun on National Hot Tea Day!! Our Members in Reflections, our Memory Care neighborhood enjoyed making their own beautiful tea hats! One of our Members even remarked that she felt very elegant! While our Members in Assisted Living enjoyed painting tea towels and sipping on a warm tea beverage! How awesome are these final products!?
Christmas Music
We love it when our Members show off their incredible talents. In December two of our amazing Members, Hillyer and Martha Rudisill performed Christmas Music on their recorder for the Members. We are looking forward to many more performances.
New Year’s Eve
We’re already a few weeks into 2021, but we’re still reminiscing on ringing in the New Year! Our Members enjoyed dressing up, taking photos, having a delicious meal and writing down their goals for a fresh, new year!
King of Rock and Roll
We recently celebrated the birthday of the King of Rock n’ Roll! Exercising with Elvis was a HIT, as they enjoyed moving and grooving to his best tunes!
National Popcorn Day
On Tuesday, we celebrated National Popcorn Day! Our Members in skilled nursing had a great time crafting with popcorn while in Reflections, our Memory Care neighborhood enjoyed snacking on popcorn with live music from our Transportation Driver, Ray! In Assisted Living, we decorated popcorn boxes! To end the day, one of our team members, Rachel visited with clown popcorn, happy hour, and a wellness treat!! Axe Throwing
Think you can hit the target?! Our newest activity that our Members are LOVING is Axe Throwing! Our Members in assisted living have a blast aiming for the target and trying to hit it. To ensure their safety, it’s not real, it’s just sticky.. but they love the challenge! We would move the axe throwing target to each floor of our community as our Members tried their hand and tested their skills!
Memory Care
It was a bright and sunny day for our Members in Reflections, our Memory Care neighborhood to enjoy the great outdoors! They spent some time outside walking and playing ball pong with our team members!
Bingo
As we continue to be socially distant, our Members have looked forward to playing Bingo! We save this gave for special occasions and this week we went to each floor to play! We had so many laughs and lots of fun music on records thanks to DJ, Ray! He set the mood playing Buddy Holly and a few other favorites! Check out these fun photos!!
