Mother’s Day at Wellmore of Tega CayOur community continues to find ways to create joyous noise for Members and families despite the current COVID-19 visitor restrictions. On Mother’s Day, our community planned a few unique events to connect our Members and their families. For the next few months, holiday celebrations are going to look different than normal, but finding new and unique ways to celebrate the upcoming holidays is the goal of Social Director, Holly Houlihan.Mother’s Day is a holiday known for bringing loved ones to honor the ladies in their lives. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we are finding new ways to adapt celebrations such as this. Our team at Wellmore of Tega Cay decided to talk to our Members and learn more about their mothers. In a video, “What I Learned From My Mom”, Members share the best advice their mom ever gave them. Sharing their stories and how it impacted their life connects Members to great memories and shares them with friends, neighbors, and family! Another wonderful way that our community honored mothers on Mother’s Day was through “Hearts for Mom.” The team provided heart templates that families could fill out with messages to be taped to the windows of their loved ones. These hearts provided an opportunity for family members to be there for our Members while they couldn’t physically be there. There was joy flowing throughout the entire community. Each Member was presented with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a sweet ice cream treat to close out their celebrations!Related Posts: 2024 Silver Pen Winners | WTC 2024 Silver Pen Winners | WDI 2024 Silver Pen Winners | WLX
